چکیده

Gorilla Troops Optimization (GTO) technique and Fractional Order Proportional-Integral-Derivative (FOPID) controller are used in this paper to increase the performance of photovoltaic system under critical disturbances shading situations. If solar irradiation is uniform, conventional MPPT techniques have been monitor maximum power point (MPP). They failed track true MPP within dynamic climatic conditions. As a result, disadvantage traditional methods such as incremental conductance (INC) perturb observe (P&O) higher oscillation ripple due fixed small step size. In article, GTO adjust parameters FOPID quickly achieve (MPP)with no overshoot eliminate drawbacks methods. To simulate LR5-72HPH-535M PV modules, MATLAB/Simulink(R2021a) was used. The proposed FGTO compared that single structure (PID)controller based on other techniques, P&O IC, these tested for different test signals (square, sine, linear, STC) irradiance temperature. all cases output obtained using tracks input signal faster than simulation results analysis show GTO-based fractional has strong ability good results, rapid convergence, stability various efficiency up 99.42%.

Artificial intelligence based P&O MPPT method for photovoltaic systems

The output characteristics of photovoltaic arrays are nonlinear and change with the cell’s temperature and solar radiation. Maximum power point tracking (MPPT) methods are used to maximize the PV array output power by tracking continuously the maximum power point (MPP). Among all MPPT methods existing in the literature, perturb and observe (P&O) is the most commonly used for its simplicity and ...
